• Toward the end of an interview on the Sirius/XM MLB Network Radio show "Inside Pitch" with Jim Bowden and Casey Stern on Monday afternoon which focused mainly on plays at the plate and collisions like the one which ended the Giants' backstop Buster Posey's 2011 season, Nats' Assistant GM & VP of Player Development Bob Boone, a former major league catcher himself (if you didn't know that), was asked by the former Nationals' GM to predict when Washington's top prospect, 2010 no.1 overall pick Bryce Harper would be moved up from Class-A Hagerstown to Double-A Harrisburg. After going 2 for 3 with a walk on Monday, the 18-year-old phenom has a .326/.412/.584 slash line in 49 games and 178 at bats in which he's collected 13 doubles, 11 HR's, 35 RBI's, seven stolen bases (in 11 attempts), 26 walks and 43 K's.
