Staff Report
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif Monday said his party will not allow establishment and the secret forces to move into action in the next general elections, adding he is in agreement over elections to be held under an unprejudiced Election Commission.

He said this while talking to a delegation of lawyers led by former Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) President Asma Jahangir at his Raiwind residence.

During the meeting, Jahangir urged upon him to defuse the present deadlock to allow the smooth running of the system. Reacting to this, Sharif stressed he is a supporter of the democracy; however, the deadlock is not wholly unjustified.

Asma Jahangir remarked she is well aware of the inefficiencies of the government and hence, wants early elections.

On the occasion, the guests invited Nawaz Sharif to attend All Parties Conference. However, he said he will make any decision in this regard in consultation with the party leaders. SAMAA
